A high-end residential project titled "Elastica" under Cadence Architects, had a requirement of a sculptural element to be set in the living area. The scheme has been designed as a ‘fluid events space’, forming a comfortable retreat amid the dense urban setting. The column positioned by the living space was designed as a hybrid element with both structural and sculptural features. With an organic form which blends into the context of the space, the design seeks to further accentuate the sense of fluidity, holistically intertwined with the building’s architecture. Malleable materials such as ferroconcrete and solid surface acrylic have been used to create these integrated objects.
A scaled prototype was hand-modelled as a referral to be used on site. The model making process, which by itself took about a month to complete, involved a series of materials starting from making a Steel armature frame, Clay moulding, Plaster of Paris casting, Paper mache and finally a metal paste coating.

The Jack Morton Worldwide team helped Google bring to life a successful and socially viral AI powered Halloween experience for Bard, through a #creativeplaybook across 3 markets, targeting key opinion leaders in #Thailand, #Vietnam and #Indonesia.
Over 550 unpaid creators and attendees from different platforms and specialties from lifestyle to travel to even voice-over actress showed up, generating 1500+ social stories in the first 24 hours and 600+ organic feed posts that had a potential audience exposure of 115M across platforms.
Guests had the chance to learn Bard TRICKS to boost their work and life productivity, experience the magic of Bard co-creation, hear real-life use cases from other creators and earn TREATS along the way.
Each market’s unique launch experience was specially curated and localised to our engaged creator audiences, including personalised Bard-powered sandbox experiences to help influencers get creative with their content, and integrate Bard into their daily lives.
From spooky stories to AI co-created cocktails, the guests could get #creative with Bard. It was not just a vision for the future, but a display of AI being helpful already today. In fact, I have a tab open with Bard these days; it is still an early experiment, but it helps me with all sorts of things I use in my daily work.
The creative task involved designing a standardised design tool kit for Google to use in their three venues, that included General Layout, Stage design, Pop-up booths, Welcome/Registration counter, F&B counter and venue decor. The guidelines were set to have a common theme with a modular set-up, which could also be adapted to local contexts.

An exhibition booth for a leading polymer manufaturing corporation, to showcase a revolutionary new plastic recycling tecnhnology.
The Approach: Don’t explain what chemical recycling is, immerse the audience in it by creating a spectacular immersive experience able to convey the emotional significance of this technology. And then articulate the entire design and communication around it, creating a strong and singular red thread through thousands of products and solutions.
Anamorphic projection was the technology used as a way to create the optical illusion of depth on a flat surface or screen, this technology allowed us to open a literal window in the center of the SABIC booth, slicing the booth in half. The gap created became the stage for a spectacular animation explaining the chemical recycling process along with its huge potential into all major industries.
Stopping the guest on their tracks and fuelling hundreds of conversations, was the answer. The entire design of the exhibit was articulated around this center piece, shifting chemical recycling from a small explainer in a sea of solutions to the most talked about experience at the K-Event.
The stand was named the best booth of the show through an article named “The coolest thing I saw at the K today: Sustainability is all around at the Sabic stand”, from one of the most influential industry press website, triggering fantastic reactions from the SABIC sales and executive teams. The SABIC K exhibition was named the “Best ever done by SABIC” by its CEO and Chairman.

In order to move away from traditional product displays, the concept required questioning our everyday interactions with people, objects and spaces. Understanding the ever-changing, ever-evolving nature of these relationships resulted in the overarching theme “Life Pulse”.
The space is intended to capture the Electrolux identity, not as a manufacturer of products but enhancer of quality of life. By creating an immersive environment pulsing with ever changing content, light and sound. Each product and experience area was immersed into a series of lights, large and small screens and element of décor, always changing. From entering the space, to exploring it, all stories were displayed in context.
Today, the experience center is used as an area for education, experimentation, gathering and discovery. The client was very happy with the outcome:
“Being our global headquarters, it was crucial for us to curate an experience that represents the essence of our family of brands. Jack Morton was not only able to capture this, but execute it through a lens that truly embodies who we are.”
-Annika Priou, VP Global Brand Development, Electrolux.

CONCEPT AND PHILOSOPHY
“Faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen.”
Faith is an affirmed spiritual conviction to the divine. It is the basic prerequisite to begin a relationship with the Divine spirit. It acts as the mind’s bridge into the spiritual realm, which links the Divine and makes it a tangible reality to the sense perceptions of a person. It also stands to be a prerequisite for hope and love. Hope on the other hand is the anticipation of something to occur; An expectation to be fulfilled. A desire for a case to ‘be’. The concept of the spatial intervention tends to reflect the commitment of the two notions: faith and hope, and its inseparable relationship when it comes to reaching the Divine. The ‘pilgrim’ is set on a path, a small journey which takes one on a subtle trial of faith; and it is only by hope and humility, can one reach the hidden place of the Divine.
THE CHAPEL OF CONTEMPL ATION
The chapel resonates with the contemplative and meditative state of the mind. Aware of its presence in the environment yet at comfort within. Patterns that create a sense of visual rhythm, glowing with light and shadow placed in equal balance. The sense of being inside, in the middle of an ‘outside’. The Chapel space focuses on creating an atmosphere of peaceful intimacy to connect with the Divine.
THE OPEN CHAPEL
As an alternative to the Chapel space, the side screen walls of the Nave can be slid open to create a semi open chapel space, which basically invites the external environment in to the church space. And in events of larger public gatherings, the entire axis of the chapel can be rotated to have the congregation seated outdoors. This flexibility to morph the space into multiple spatial arrangements allows for intimate and public spaces as well. The open chapel space ‘completes’ the transept of the chapel, with its ‘non-building’ form, thereby reinterpreting the traditional cross-form plans of churches. The space embraces the natural harmony of the environment and brings the pilgrims to worship in the presence of ‘creation’ itself. The actual cross of the open chapel, rests among lush trees with an ever changing skyscape.
